I’m a Canadian / Costa Rican dual citizen living the Pura Vida Lifestyle on the northern beaches of the Pacific Ocean in Playas del Coco, Costa Rica. My parents were Dutch immigrants to Canada. I was born into the trucking business in Brampton Ont. In 2000, after a few million miles and moving into cottage country, I sold my trucks and became a fulltime Real Estate professional. Originally selling with Royal LePage and spec building in the beautiful Muskoka Ontario Canada, I bring much of knowledge of the vacation home real estate industry, it’s needs and lifestyle. 2014 was the year I moved to Costa Rica. Having traveled most of country, The Gulf of Papagayo was an easy choice. It’s been a lifetime of fun and always on adventure.

Why Golf Carts?
Selling Real Estate in this area brings with it unique marketing possibilities. With that in mind the golf carts came into the picture. Each year the size of the cart fleet has grown. And with the growth, a higher number of Real Estate clients.

Does it stop there?
In order to maintain a good level of service, along with driving more Real Estate marketing, I have surrounded myself with some top notch golf cart maintenance people, new and used cart sources. A full service facility, Recreational Sales & Service is taking shape. And so the marketing continues.

Whats my #1 job with the carts?
To try and meet each and every family personally. Hopefully become friends. I love helping my friends buy and sell property. More so to be apart of helping people with a segment of their life.

I am known to my clients as being fun but very direct, honest and willing to go the extra distance. My past clients have become and remain good friends. I like to do business based on trust and focus my business on serious clients that want to keep live moving.
Personally, I old country music, rock & blues, and almost everything in-between. I'm always up for a drive (adventure) down a back road and a new experience in a little out of the way Costa Rican place. I enjoy doing renovations and designing houses, taking a couple hours away from the office to play with one of golf carts, either driving or repairing. Then its off to the beach. Mostly I enjoy helping good people.
